Weather Information

Warm and Sunny skies with an occasional rain shower are the norm in the Virgin Islands. We have a year round average temperature of 87°F or 30°C. Our summers are mostly wet from the tropical waves that sometimes roll across the Atlantic Ocean, while our winters are mostly dry, but slightly cooler at night thanks to prevailing winds out of the north and north east.

In the Caribbean, hurricane season occurs between June and October, peaking in Mid-September. Thanks to accurate forecasting and satellites, hurricanes are very predictable and you will have many days warning before a storm makes landfall. Being aware of the forecast weather conditions in the area will give you enough time to plan and prepare.
